Dorothy is the Director of science education company STEM Scotland Ltd, helping schools and the public reach their goals in STEM. Dorothy founded her company in 2018 after 20+ years in science (research, teaching & technical), realising that now is the time to do things differently. “Dr Dot’s Science Club” has become a key part of the business, and Dorothy is an established provider of STEM resources and expertise for a local Primary school. Combining decades of experience with creativity and a laser-like focus on helping others learn, Dorothy is a regular speaker at events from scientific conferences to school careers fairs and STEM festivals. She is a Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society, a member of the Association for Science Education, and is a registered STEM Ambassador.
